In
its first three years, Grand Circle Field School (GCFS) has
established itself as a provider of high-quality environmental
education trips for adults. GCFS is now taking the next
steps in fulfilling its vision by increasing the
number of school-based
trips for middle and high school
students, offering college credit for students engaged
in independent
studies, linking NPS and BLM agency needs with student
and volunteer interests, and providing work service
programs to provide assistance on needed projects such as archeological
surveys, revegetation, trail construction and maintenance
through volunteer classes, student internship and youth
programs.
Teachers interested in learning more about
working with GCFS to develop custom field trips for school
groups should
contact us directly by phone (505.797.8540) or email.
We look forward to helping you achieve your educational
goals.

Let us design a trip to fit your
middle or high school group’s needs. You can
hike a little or a lot. You can camp or stay in a
lodge. We can help plan your travel to our site. We'll
handle logistics and our instructors
and guides will work with you to customize the class to
meet your teaching goals.
Below are descriptions of two multi-day sample classes which we hosted last season (both were big hits with the kids!).
